Rachel is a Chartered Member of the CIPD and a qualified executive coach. She has 20 years strategic and operational HR experience gained across a diverse range of sectors, including sport, consultancy, media, higher education, government and housing. A talented HR generalist and executive coach who skilfully combines strong technical knowledge and experience with pragmatism, curiosity and heart. Rachel has a warm, influential and engaging style. Executive Coaching: ILM Qualified Executive Coach. Experienced in coaching middle and senior management professionals to unlock their potential, overcome challenges, achieve their goals and find more meaning, fulfilment and wellbeing in their careers.
Operational HR services: Delivery of business and customer-focussed operational HR services across the full generalist HR remit (talent, succession, performance management, policy development, pay and benefits, learning and development, change management).
Performance/development: Designing, promoting and embedding performance and development/appraisal processes. Managing poor performance processes. Facilitating performance and development training sessions. Developing organisational development strategies. Delivering performance coaching programmes.

Developing recruitment strategies and processes including job design, advertising and promotion strategies, designing selection frameworks, methods and processes including assessment centres and psychometric testing. Developing promotional initiatives to enhance employer brands. Developing on-boarding and induction processes. Developing and delivering succession planning programmes.
Employee engagement and wellbeing: Developing and implementing employee engagement strategies and programmes to ensure employees feel motivated and connected to the organisation’s aims, objectives and values, that their views are listened to and that the organisation seeks to continuously develop. Design and delivery of staff engagement surveys. Analysis and reporting of results/recommendations. Facilitating employee feedback and action planning sessions. Development and facilitation of employee-led culture working groups. Developing holistic and integrated wellbeing programmes to help people thrive at work.
Change management/employee relations: Providing expertise in change management (including restructure, redundancy, TUPE), disciplinary, grievance, poor performance and capability processes, including tactical planning support, HR and employment law advice, process management, advising on communications, coaching and supporting managers, supporting consultation discussions and ensuring legal compliance.
Leadership: Developing management development programmes, coaching and developing leaders, fostering a culture of values-based leadership through the provision of coaching and support to senior leaders and managers so that they are skilled and empowered to engage, develop and motivate their teams and take ownership of their people challenges.
